REGISTRATION, REGISTRATION!

Wow!  What a great response!  I had tons of registrations this week!  Woo Hoo!!!!  Better hurry and get your registrations in...especially that Our Time Tuesday class and the Village class.  Those classes are bulging now and will be full again in the Spring.  

Try out the new Family Time class or Sign and Sing.  If you are a Village family, I encourage you to take both.  They work hand in hand and it is worth that extra 5 weeks you will give to learn how to teach your child a new way of communicating.  Family Time begins right after the Sign and Sing finishes (Feb. 23) and is a wonderful choice for those moms who have more than one child at different ages and stages of life.

Upcoming Week 8

Hello families,

I am finally feeling better and I am looking forward to getting back into my routine and being with you in class.

Week 7

The week of October 19th I will be selling a few instruments, books and bilibos. I will post the prices on the items. I picked these items up at a Conference this past summer and will sell them to you for what I paid for them. I want your children to enjoy them. I will have bags for you to put them in if you want to use them for Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers!

The Winter/Spring semester begins the end of January. I will begin closed registration on November 3rd - December 1st. This is for current students only. I will open to the public on December 1st. If you register before December 1st your child will receive a FREE Kindermusik t-shirt (to be given out in December). I have ordered lots of fun colors so you will have fun choices. The only requirement to register is to fill out a registration form and pay the materials fee for your class. Tuition isn't due until the first class in January. It is worth it to register for the t-shirt. Also, the Village class is bulging and will be spilling over into the Our Time classes in January so you Our Time families register fast!

I am offering the NEW Sign and Sing class beginning November 3rd. It is a 5-week class being held on Tuesdays from 9:15 - 10:00. It is $70 ($30 materials, Tuition $40) for new students and $60 ($30 materials, $30 tuition) for existing students. Registration begins October 20th.

Did you know?

Most young ones often do not know the difference between their speaking voice and their singing voice. This is why some children sing in a monotone drone. Encourage your child to explore their upper voice. You could take a scarf or towel and make an arc over your head and say WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE in a high pitched voice.

Hearing and feeling music at different tempi (different speeds like fast or slow) helps to develop a sense of timing and comprehend language and music at different speeds.

Week 2

Kindermusik International and I are making pro-active changes to my daily classroom routines to help protect your children from the spread of viruses like the H1N1 flu.

• Lessons have been re-written to avoid activities where children are in close contact
• I do rigorous instrument and classroom cleaning
• New in-home lesson options will be available online
• Ask about my generous make-up class opportunities
